Timber!!

Timber!!

One warm weekend in March 2012 two guys masquerading as Lumberjacks, Bob and Jim Jenkins, attacked the overgrown trees in the backyard.

Within hours they had plenty of firewood cut and a rather large pile of brush ready for chipping. These guys mean business when you put a chainsaw in their hands!!  Shamrock Tree Farm, great place for Pumkins and Christmas Trees and they have a really cool train for the kids to ride, provided a heavy duty chipper and soon the backyard was straightened up. Andi and Bob have future plans for this wonderful back yard. Lots of flower beds, a small garden and even a chiminea.

These are views of the back yard before the tree removal started. As you can see, this was no small task. Thankfully they had all the help they needed.

After hours of cutting down trees, they then had the chore of cleaning up all the mess. And believe me, it was quite a mess.

Finally, they had it all finished. So instead of an untamed jungle, they had a nice new backyard, a blank canvass if you will, ready for flowerbeds, a new patio and whatever else they have planned.
